Last Nite's Foods...Erks

Helloo peeps. Good day. I don’t know why I feel the needs to share with you guys the story of my cannibalism (Hahahahaahahahahahahahahahhahaha). I mean, considering that I don’t actually eat so much these days, so this is already considered a nite of indulgence because I eat a few types of foods, but just a little of everything. Which is niceee!!! *giggles. Entering the “time of the month”, I think I should not feel guilty. Don’t give me that look ok!! Hahahahaha.

P/S: I remember that I told you guys that durian gives me a creep since the last time that I fell sick because of it. But since that I’m feeling so fit, I eat as much durians I want, at least before my period. How about that? I am just so happy to find a bunch of durians at the back. These durians are from our dusun, niceeee… hehehehehehe. (Pssttt…free bah…Hahahahaha)

One good thing about eating a few kinds of food just a little portion will make you feel full and happy. The moral of the story: Eating is one pleasure in life. *Lols

Coffee Finally Gets Back At Me!!!

When I’m busy to tell the world that I’m a coffee addict, it’s actually on its ongoing mission to get back at me. Ouch!!

Is this just my imagination?? I couldn’t hold my camera still whenever I’m taking pictures!!

Now that’s what my addiction to coffee did to me. I always know that caffeine will affect our nerve system. My bestfriend, who is less an addict than I am, told me that she got that effect much earlier. She said, this must be coffee. Whenever she is not using her hand and just lays it still, she notices that it shivers, and it’s not like she controls it. Omigawd. Something like that happens to me ka? I always end up taking shaky shots!!! I have to depend on shake-free function in my camera to take care of it. But the problem is, it’s limited to only a few flash option. So it’s best that I don’t have to rely on the shake-free mode. I must get my hands still and steady!!!

Recently I talk to an elderly woman (she’s my mom’s age), I told her that I could not get my hands still when I’m taking picture, which might be caused by drinking too much coffee. She got panicked! *Lols. Before that, she just told me that she couldn’t start the day without Nescafe. Then what I did was presented to her what coffee does to me. She went, “No, you can’t be serious.” I said, “I am serious!”. I think I’m just trying to fool around with her la. Hahahahahahaa. And it worked! *Lols.

To be honest, since it happened to my bestfriend first, I don’t feel that alarmed. Maybe I was wrong about it. Maybe it’s not coffee. I can still take still snapshots if I try hard. Just that, I can do it much easily before. Nowadays, getting a good unshaky shot is considered a good job. That’s why I need the tripod to take pictures. Hahahaahahahaha. Now I know that you people actually invented tripod for the coffee addicts!!!

Hahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa

What do I say now? Thank you?

*Lols.

No worries. *winks.

“Not too big, please”

Size does matter. In some cases, the bigger, the better. Is it? But for sure, not all.

“Macam bagus kalau tu namecard ada besar sikit kan? Sure lagi cantik.”

Sia tinguk betul2 tu cousin sia yang sedang admiring name card baru dia.

“Itu adalah namecard ba. Kau mesti ingat apa purpose dia. Memang dia patut kecil, ngam2 wallet saja. Kalau besar sikit pun, orang tidak akan simpan namecard kau sebab dia most likely akan misplace since that tidak muat di wallet?”

My cousin cakap, “Emm…ya kan, betul juga kau cakap tu.”

As a matter of fact, banyak namecard di luar sana yang a bit long or wide to fit the wallet. Wallet ni macam2 size, but lebih kurang juga. Good enough to fit Atm/credit card, IC, and gambar passport.

Speaking of bigger size pictures are usually better than the smaller ones, but it’s the opposite with namecard. If it’s a little smaller, it’s safer because it can fit most wallet size.

Sounds like something so remeh temeh kan? Actually…it’s only the freaking namecard can get you a good business deal out of nowhere. So don’t underestimate the importance of namecard.

But first, you must care enough to get the size right.

“Not too big please.”

*giggles.

So who says bigger is always better?

Not me… *Lols

Is It Monday?

Monday, emm… sounds like a fresh new day right? Why am I feeling all the same. I could stand there wondering for a second…Eh, what day today ah?

Monday, is it? Why it doesn’t look like Monday at all? Why everything looks the same old way? Even if you answer me it’s Wednesday or Saturday, I would believe you right away. Because it does look like any other day. It almost doesn’t look like Monday.

Don’t you guys envy me that I don’t see any difference in the days? I don’t have to get too pressured when it’s Monday. I can choose to be happy and excited the way you guys do when you reach Friday.

Or is it me who should envy you guys because you can tell the big difference between Monday and Friday? I want to envy you guys, but I CAN’T. *giggles.

You know what? I’m going to take advantage of my life. I am going to see that everything is my life is better than others. If I can’t tell if it’s Monday because any day is the same to me, I will praise the fact that I don’t have to go through Monday blues. Oh, what about the precious Friday? Oh, I will give up “precious” just so I don’t have to deal with Freaky Friday. *Lols. I mean, you guys get what I mean?

I can tune it, twist it around – the elements of my life are unique. It’s just tiring and restless to find the reason to feel bad about our own life when we can find the thousand ways to see it the other way around.

When you are at it, don’t forget to pause and just say Thanks. You’re so blessed, can’t you see it? We may be weak. We may be a little too nasty. We may not be the most compassionate person. But we know what we do have, and appreciate it, and we know how to say thanks to the one who gave it all to us.

If you can at least do that, you can’t be that bad.

Let’s celebrate another day being alive.

It’s a fresh day. It’s Monday, remember?

*giggles.

Are You Sure You Are Over Him?

Are you one of those who try to deny the fact that someone is still very much lingering in your heart? And in the most unfortunately case, that’s the best you can have? You can’t reach for the person with your hands. All you have are the pieces of good memories that you told people you wanted to erase but you never did?

Then the bigger question is, sometimes trying to get over your ex is harder because YOU make it harder. You refuse to GET OVER him. You want to cling to it as long as you still keep the sentimental value of the old time sake. Isn’t that stupid?

The more stupid things you can do is start dating new guys, one by one, but just ending up making them feel stupid because all they can memorise in your conversation is, your EX. You speak of no one else more than you speak of your ex. And then at the same time, faking the smile, “Oh, he’s just my ex. I’m over him.” And the guys caught you red-handed. “No 256, you’re not over him.” Face It.

As excited as you can get when new guys come into your life, it’s actually just to give the “thrill” to prove that the memories of your ex are gonna be stronger than any new crush that gonna walk into your life. Cos you leave the door open for anyone who tries to walk in to easily find the way out cos you don’t really hope they would stay longer. Something stronger matters more and it’s not likely to end anytime soon. You thought you tried. But you haven’t tried enough.

My good guyfriend told me once that he said the love that I had for my ex was true love because it was hard for me to move on. Honestly, I don’t appreciate that term “true love” to describe my situation because it doesn’t matter what the term is. When it’s over, it’s over. He actually thought that the harder it is for someone to move on, the greater the love is. What for? This is not a competition of whose love is greater, judging from the how long they take to move on. Gimme a break. We have a life to live here, people.

I don’t know if I’m doing it again or this is really IT this time. I think that I’m losing grip of the past memories. I mean, it’s just different now. I don’t feel that they are as powerful as they used to be. They don’t affect me anymore. I almost thought they are losing their meaning to me. It’s almost cruel to feel this way but it has to happen. I need it to happen. Almost pretty badly.

Suddenly I feel that I don’t mind even if I burn all the things that keep the memories of him. It doesn’t feel like it’s gonna hurt. Not anymore. Suddenly the thought of his being doesn’t even give you the tingle anymore. You’re NOT that attracted to that vision of him as you used to in the past. He’s doesn’t make the cut for the figure of someone special to you. He’s now just another guy on the street. If you pass him by, you might not even want to turn your face at him. The thoughts of him don’t even turn any switch of button that could turn you on in anyway. Now, what do you call that? Are you now finally over him?

I don’t know if I experience something like that now. I think that I found my way to give space for others to make me feel that I’m missing a lot of good things this life can offer me. I think I’m holding myself back for too long. I should go back to the arena and close the old chapter. Am I ready?

Maybe all this while, I was trying to make myself serve the sentence so that I can believe that I have received the punishment for anything wrong that I did that hurt the heart that didn’t deserve it. Maybe you guys don’t realize that you find it hard to move on because YOU FEEL GUILTY to do so. Maybe it’s not because you thought you still love the person. Yeah, maybe it’s just guilt. Now, after all said and done, I’ve done my time, can I move on now?

Read the topic again. I want so much to answer Yes. And this time, it’s for real. I’m sure. I mean, almost.

Let The Small Things Remain Small

Actually, this life this full of “small things” – and I mean, SMALL THINGS. They are small matters that people love to blow it up and end up making life harder. Why don’t we just let it be SMALL?

This is a big advice to myself because I am the type who like to blow things up – and my excuses are always about “what’s appropriate”, pride and trying to avoid people from taking advantage. My life is always so much harder than most laid back people. I hate to make a simple decision if I think someone gonna benefit it not in the way that favours me. Yes, maybe because I’m just annoyingly stubborn. But can I please learn to make life easier? Can I please learn that? Please [256]?

The scenario when I always blow up small things has a lot to do with me being fussy. I am very particular with things and when I make myself clear about certain things, I expect other people to follow what I say, in the name of RESPECT. I mean, it’s not much that I ask from people. It won’t cost them a penny at all. It’s just the small thing and all they need to do is JUST NOT DO what I don’t like. THAT’S ALL. Yes, THAT’S ALL. So I give myself the excuse to burst out my anger if people disrespect my requests. It’s just a small thing.

When there are foods on the table, DON’T ever do anything that spread dust/chemicals on the air, like sweeping, slapping the pillow, spraying (even perfumes, let alone insect killers like Ridsect!!) and DO NOT wiggle your hair because I don’t appreciate any dandruff to be inside the recipe of the food on the table. I don’t ask so much, do I? You can do all that but NOT when the there are uncovered foods on the table, or worse yet, there are people who are eating on the dining table. This is the good example of the everyday thing that I do that makes some people think that I am too fussy. And it’s just a small thing actually. But if anyone in the house actually ignores that, I get mad very easily. I think that I ask very simple things from them, and they can’t even comply. So this attitude of asking people to do what I want is actually making my life harder. I thought that I should find a way so that people WON’T have to make me feel that they purposely try to piss me off. So I always do my part to “protect” my fussiness so that I don’t have to deal with the things that might piss me off. I must remember that, this is just a small matter. I don’t have to ruin my relationship with the people that I love just because of this. I must adapt to their ways too, and I’m sure they try so hard to adapt to mine to. If they trip once in a while, I must consider that once in a while I might also do the things they dislike and still they find the way to forgive me and not blow things up.

Yesterday, my sister was busy looking for her handphone. She thought she lost it. It would be difficult for her job if she lost all the contacts. It’s even difficult for people to contact her. So since today is Sunday, we thought that she might have to wait until tomorrow to get a replacement for her sim card. Since she knows I’m using more than 1 phones, she asked me if she could use one of my phones. I was concerned that if she uses one of my numbers, I will have to deal with the people I don’t know once she passes the phone back to me. I have bought a new number that I haven’t used yet. I could simply let my sister use it without her having to answer calls from my friends or customers, but because I was worried over small matters, it took me a while to agree. I snapped at my stupid thoughts as said, Hey this is just a small matter. It’s just a number. I can always buy a new one, right? I should help my sister now that she’s in need. Even if I have to answer calls from her friends who use that number to call her, it won’t kill me, right? So this morning, I actually give her one of my phones without having to worry anything over the “small things”. I only care that I do one considerate thing to my own sister.

A bad example happened to my friend a few days. Her boss burst in anger when she found out her workers pull the office table and not lifting it. It left a scratch mark on the new carpet. After seeing the mark, she transformed into an angry lion. “Kenapa la kamu semua ni bodoh betul??? Sia paling tidak suka barang2 sia kena kasi rosak!!!! Kamu pikir ini ofis kamu punya ka? Apa lagi kamu mau buat lepas ni? Mau bakar ni ofis? Kamu semua memang orang teda guna!! Sepa tidak tahan, sekarang juga boleh letak jawatan. Ada bertimbun lagi permohonan atas meja sia – budak degree yg minta gaji RM400 saja!!! Kamu cermin diri kamu sekarang, apa kelulusan kamu, berapa gaji sia bagi kamu!!!!! PALUI punya manusia!!” Guess what? It was only over a scratch mark on the carpet!!!!!!!!! As a result, some of her most loyal workers resigned on the same day. Some of the workers have been around for 4 years. Not only that she has tarnished her own good image with that attitude, she also lost her workers and has to train new ones, and she also giving herself a bad day, a bad feeling and a bad reputation as a boss. Nobody would respect her anymore after that. Even my friend is resigning next week. I’m not surprised that even the established company could go down if she’s the only one who runs it. This and much more, over a scratch mark on the carpet? Usually thick carpet doesn’t hold scratch mark for long. It could be that she could end up just making a fool of herself.

Before we get angry or feel bad over something, PAUSE for a while and think for a second if it’s worth it. Most of the times, it’s just a small thing. Don’t let the small things embarrassed us because of our stupid anger. How much could these small things actually matter? You know my answer. Good bonding between people that actually matters than anything else. A nice phone number or a new luxury carpet become as small as dusts flying in the air – because they don’t last. When we come to the part of our lives where no money or luxury could matter anymore, it’s when we realize how stupid we are to blow up the small things to the extent that we lose things that really matter more.

So people, lets just the small things remain small, Okay?

:)

"The Boss Is Out!"

Dalam kesibukan orang mengejar pangkat dan kedudukan, sebenarnya kita mungkin terlepas pandang bahawa cukup tenang menjadi seorang orang bawahan iaitu kuli. Nda kisah la kamu panggil apa. Yang penting, kamu cuma orang bawahan. You’re not a decision maker. Wah mudahnya kerja!! *Lols.

You guys know kan salesmen ni sentiasa menganggu. Ada2 saja dorang mau jual. Kau taruh la macamana besar pun tu sign No Salesman pun masih juga dorang datang. Yang lucunya, terjadilah satu tindakan refleks. Suddenly teda sepa mengaku boss!!! Hahahahahahaahahahahaha

Dia intro2 sikit, and then tanya. “Can I meet your boss?” Then suddenly, “The boss is out. Sorry.” Then sepa sangka, hanya kerana kau cakap mcm tu, 50% discount trouble yg kau dapat!! Hahahahahahaha. Then? Dengan pantas dia akan beredar. Daripada 20 minit, jadinya 10 minit. Kau pun save pening 50%. Hahahahahahahahahaha. Apa2 hal, kau jual saja tu nama boss ba!! *Lols. Bukan jual apa, kau cakap ja, “Ohooo tu boss jalan wooo…”

Yang lucunya, lepas tu salesman jalan, tu ofis sebelah pegi tanya sia. “Apa kau cakap sama tu salesman tadi?” Then dorang cakap, “Kami pun cakap macam tu!!!”

Punya berabis kami ketawa. Hahahahahaahahahahahhaaha. Dorang lagi teruk ba, ampai2 ba tu boss sana ikut cerita2 sama dorang, tapi since pakai pun lebih kurang, tidak ketara mana satu kuli, mana satu boss. Jadi tu boss dorang yg cakap sama tu salesman, Itu boss kami keluar pi makan, sambil tunjuk tu ofis yg bertutup, iaitu ofis dia sendiri!!! HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA. Betul2 muka panipu ooo! *Lols. Selamba gila ni baaa. Hahahahahaha.

Bijakkk bijakk…

(/me berabis ketawa sana pisuk2)

The Rules We Can't Break

We humans, have the tendency to break the rules. I come to learn something from this life – just a little latter than many things. So much that we speak about the thrill of trying to bend the rules; to play the game using our own cunning ways. Yes, many times we successfully did it. We played a universal game using our very own rules. Now I find my way to defy this. No people, we shouldn’t do that. Not everytime, please.

This is the example I can give you guys. When I first met this guyfriend, he has a very close relationship with someone that he called his big sister. Whenever we talked, he always dragged this “big sister” into the picture. When he wanted to refer to someone, it was always his big sister that he referred to as someone who pretty much set the “good” standard for the kind of lady that he liked. I remember feeling pissed at times because he always compared me with her. Like, “you might be good but my big sister is also as good, if not better,” – something like that. But on top of that, I had a good feeling with this kind of good impression that he had towards someone older that he respected enough to call a big sister. I actually admired it that 2 people could have such a good relationship without having to call it love or fling. It was just purely bro and sister relationship. He told me, that big sister was that important to him that not even his future wife could make him listen to her anymore than his big sister. I was like, “Wow!! Seriously?” He said, “256, consider this the chain of food that you MUST eat. That is the rule.” He explained how much the big sister has once helped him and he appreciated it a lot.

After a few months, something happened. The big argument happened between them. He told me, “Don’t mention her anymore. I hate her!!!” Then I went, “What???” It was like a building has just come crushing down. It was so unthinkable to finally hear him saying that towards someone he once looked up to. “What happened??” He refused to explain. He kept cursing and swearing her using all the foul language. I couldn’t stand it. I said, “Hey stop it!!! Don’t call her that, okay? She was once your big sister, for goodness sake!!!!”

I couldn’t believe that he built hatred so easily after all the things they have been through. He screamed at me whenever I mistakenly mentioned about the lady. Like he seriously declared the world war III with her. I WANT TO KNOW WHY!!! TELL ME WHY!!! I never got to let him know how sincerely sad I felt inside about him making wars with his own big sister. I seriously don’t like to see that!!!

After some time, he cooled down and that was when I took the chance to ask him. He finally told me the reasons. I finally understood his anger. But still, I don’t think it’s enough to call a big sister, A Bitch. I mean NO REASON could be enough to call someone older, who you once adored as your big sister – A BITCH. I told him I was so upset. He was surprised that I was affected by that. “Oh, why did you feel upset, 256?”

BECAUSE REMEMBER YOU TOLD ME THIS IS PART OF A FOOD CHAIN THAT “I MUST EAT”!!! IT IS THE FREAKING RULE THAT I SHOULDN’T BREAK!!!

He went silent. I thought that my remark really hit home. “Emm…Oh, you remember”

OF COURSE I REMEMBER!!! Because I think you’re right about it. There are rules that we can’t break!!!

This is my point, people. In this life, Yes, sometimes we get upset. Sometimes people let us down. But there are rules that WE CAN’T BREAK!! If you call someone a big sister today, YOU CAN’T call her bitch the next day. That isn’t how it works around here, PLEASE!! Please spare some thoughts for the people who have once touched your life. Even if the person commits a misconduct that is unacceptable to you, for the old time sake, DO NOT just downgrade the person to a piece of sh*t overnite!! And you don’t this just because of a mistake that you need time to understand why they do it. NO NO!!!

Just look at your own parents. They bring you into this life. They feed you and raise you up. You think it’s easy? No it’s never easy. So when they do something so bad one day, like embarrassing you in front of your relatives – saying a bad remark about your weakness – can you just UNDO all the angelic deeds they have done for you? Is it enough to call them the DEVILS? No people, NO!! Because this is THE RULE that you can’t break. You can bend it here and there, but you could not BREAK IT. They are your parents and nothing they say or do that will change how much they have done for you. Mistakes are just temporary. It’s not a curse. DON’T spoil a love chain over stupid matters.

If my brother did something that hurt my parents, of course we have the right to feel angry and sad with him. But it doesn’t give us the right to send my brother out of the house and disown him as our brother just because of a mistake that is not even fatal; a mistake that can be corrected. Why? Because we have been siblings from day one. Nothing in this world can change that. We shouldn’t consider disowning him or even think of sending him out of the house. You can scream at him, of not talking to him for days, but NEVER forget that he’s your brother. THAT’S THE RULE THAT WE CAN’T BREAK, UNDERSTAND?

In our times of needs, you must realize that it’s them who we reach out for. It’s them who could be the last people you see before you leave this life. There’s no freaking physical excuses in this earth that are good enough for us to abandon these people who have left mark in our life. That is the honour that we should spare them. When it comes to the question of life and death, no freaking physical rules matter anymore. It’s only Who Is My Friend, Who Is My Family – that matter. You can’t let any stupid worldly challenges to simply break our good bonds with these special people. We must preserve something beyond all the rules in this universe. The rules that we CAN’T break. That is to preserve good bonding with the people that have touched our lives in one way or another.

I remind myself of this too because I’m also human. I do the same mistakes every now and then. But I should be ashamed of myself to write all this just to repeat the same mistake. Yes, we might feel the need to bend the rules here and there, but now you know the rules that are not worth breaking. I’ve done my part. The rest is yours.

Cursed To Be A Wife?

Nasib baik sia belum post lagi article pasal cinta SMS tu.

Yes my friends. Dorang ni betul2 cinta SMS. Kenal pun daripada kena passing2 nombor oleh kawan2. Dorang SMS since perempuan tu Tingkatan 6 dan sekarang dia sudah kerja. Maybe almost 3 years hubungan SMS dorang tu berlaku secara rancaknya. Bukan alang2 punya rancak.

Sia rasa so amazing.

Sia tanya dia, “So apa macam? Kau rasa excited ka sekarang ni? Menjadi pula cinta SMS kau tu.”

Kawan sia cakap, dia sendiri Tidak Percaya dengan apa yg sedang berlaku. Semuanya berlaku terlampau pantas dan kalau diumpamakan sebuah keretapi, keretapi tu jalan di luar landasan!! You guys belum tau lagi. Sebenarnya kawan sia ni TIDAK MAHU kawin lagi!! So mama bapa perempuan ni gembira saja sebab anak dorang kena pinang so dorang main setuju saja. Teda pun orang tanya kawan sia ni sama ada dia ready mau kawin ka tidak. Dorang main redah saja yg assume kawan sia ok ja. Tapi jatuh air muka kalau tiba2 nda jadi kawin. Hairan betul manusia zaman sekarang! Macam2 ada!!

“So kau happy ka sekarang ni?”

“Happy apa? Kami sedang bergaduh ni sekarang! Perang dunia!”

Aiksss…takajut sia dengar. Tunang tidak sampai pun sebulan yg lalu. Sudah ada perang dunia. Gara-gara perempuan tu buat lelaki tu tunggu dia selama 5 jam masa dorang plan untuk urus surat nikah, lelaki tu MAKI dia kaw2 punya bah!!

“Perempuan sial, jahanam, puk*ma, setan, pigi mati la kau…(and the curse goes on)”

Imagine!!! Kalau sia sedang makan masa tu, silap2 sia tercekik ba dengar kawan sia cakap. Gila oo!!! Betul ka tidak oo?

Kawan sia cakap dia diam ja masa dia kena maki tu. Whoa. Nda gila ka tu? Mata sia terbeliak ba dengar. Sampai gitu sekali ba kan?

Isu Bukan Perawan tu bukan benda yang kau bring up masa 2 minggu sebelum kawin ba, true or not? At least kau jaga la ba kedaulatan dan kehormatan bakal isteri kau. (/me pingsan ketawa. Bila lagi CP ada tiang ni?? Hahahahahaahahahahahahahaha)

Sia tengok muka kawan sia tu lama2. Dia ni memang SANGAT PENYABAR. Sia rasa dia ni patut pakai tu crown Orang Paling Penyabar Di Dunia. Memang satu kelebihan. But, even from her husband to be? Come on la!!!

Kalau dia lepaskan kawan sia tu, belum tentu dia dapat cari perempuan yang minta hantaran begitu sikit, and then seorang yg sabar macam tu. Terlalu lembut hati.

“Apa mau jadi lepas kamu kawin ni? Belum kawin lagi sudah kena maki. Silap2 lepas kawin dia naik tangan pula. Apa guna kawin kalau macam ni?”

Kawan sia pun geleng kepala. Dia sedar situasi dia yg betul2 teruk. Dia rasa yang perkawinan ni terlampau awal. Sia setuju dengan dia. Lelaki tu baru 20 tahun. Sia yakin kalau dia sudah cukup 25 tahun, at least dia sudah jadi lelaki yg berbeza. Sudah cukup rasa asam garam. Matang. Tau hormat perempuan. Timing is indeed very important.

Sia tidak mampu tolong dia apa2. Sia cuma wish dia All The Best dan sia harap sia tidak tau begitu banyak tentang dorang untuk buat kesimpulan yang betul tentang marriage dorang ni. Sia harap sia “tidak tau apa2” pun dan akhirnya their marriage turns out to be great for my friend. I keep my fingers crossed.

Just another unique story of another story behind a marriage. Another lesson learnt :)

To Get or Not To Get Engaged

Speaking of getting engaged, is it something compulsory to you? Usually when the relationship is going steady and both parties are ready for a commitment, they will think about getting engaged. But how important it is?

I beg your pardon because I don’t really know about traditions and stuff. Maybe it’s not right for me to question the importance of engagement if it’s written in your traditions or laws. As far as I know, engagement is “an agreement” between two persons, witnessed by the families – that they are committing to marrying each other. Some people got engaged for only weeks, and some for years. Many of the engagements out there don’t last in marriage. Huh?

Broken engagements? Ouch!! What’s the difference with relationships? Is it just the ring?

Engagement doesn’t legalize pre-marital sex. If you got pregnant even when you’re already engaged, it’s still considered “adultery”. So, you guys tell me what’s good with engagement? Tell me one!!!

Honestly speaking guys, sia tidak berapa suka the idea of “bertunang” or getting engaged. Buat apa mau tunang2 kalau memang belum ready mau kawin? Mungkin sia sudah dengar cikgu sia pernah cakap, “Jangan kamu bertunang awal2, nanti kamu menyesal.” Dia cakap begitu sebab dia sudah lalui benda tu. Dia bertunang sebelum dia further study oversea. Dia menyesal sebab dia bertunang awal2. Malang juga untuk dia sebab mengikut adat dia, dia kena balas balik tu hantaran pertunangan sebanyak dua kali ganda kalau dia yg putuskan pertunangan tu. Akhirnya dia terpaksa juga teruskan. Upacara sudah berjalan. Ikatan sudah dibuat. Banyak hati kau kena jaga. Bukan setakat kau jumpa lelaki baru yg lagi best, kau suka2 ja kasi putus tunang.

Ouch. Again I ask, What’s good about getting engaged?

Usually these guys are insecure. BETUL MEH?

So jangan la you guys merajuk sangat kalau gfriend kamu tidak mau tunang. Jangan la merajuk sangat ba. Cuba paham sikit.

PRESSURE!!!

Yes, you heard me. Bagus2 kamurang jadi couple steady ja, satu kali lepas tunang, orang asyik tanya, “Bila mau kawin oh?” Apa lagi kalau si lelaki tu belum ada duit. Paning kepala tu perempuan mau menjawab. Inda kan dia pula tanya, “Bila kita mau kawin ni?? Orang tanya2 sudah ni!!” Nahh, tu masa baru kamurang mau bercakaran. Satu tahun, dua tahun – nda juga pandai kawin2. Apa lagi tu mulut orang kampung, becakap macam tu mulut burung. *Lols. Panas terus ba telinga si kawan. Masa tu baru kamurang paham, Sepa suruh tunang awal2?

Untuk saja2 mau show off dengan orang kah?

U men want to know why some ladies are so freaked out with getting engaged? Sebab seolah-olah dorang hilang kebebasan sebelum tiba masanya. Kalau sebelum tunang pun sudah kena control, apa lagi lepas tunang? Mau kawan sama lelaki lain pun salah. Sesak nafas wooo!! Paham kah? Orang pun ada kehidupan juga ba. Kalau setakat belum tau bila mau kawin, duit pun belum cukup, bagus jangan dulu sibuk2 mau tunang. Nda juga lari tu kalau sudah jodoh.

Actually, bertunang ni satu kemestian. Kan surat tunang tu diperlukan untuk ikut kursus kawin. Tapi masa tu memang ngam la untuk tunang. Sebab sama2 sudah tinggal kawin lagi. Tidak payah mau drama2 lagi masa tempoh pertunangan tu. Memang tujuan bertunang tu untuk menuju perkahwinan kan? So kalau setakat mau bertunang tapi masih mengira bintang di langit, memang cari nahas. Akhirnya dia terpaksa berkorban. Sama juga orang cakap2. Semua org tau yang dia sponsor semua belanja kawin dia. Bukan mau berkira duit atau apa, but mungkin pertunangan tu terlalu premature ba. That’s why sia cakap, the best time to get engaged is when kamurang cuma tinggal mau urus kawin.

So…

To Get or Not To Get Engaged? It’s your decision.
