Is Everything Parts Of God’s Plan?

Some of you would answer YES. Right?

U don’t say that when you got bullied at school, u turned rebellious, u turned to gangsters for help to protect yourself, which then involved you in more crimes, like drugs, like robbery, then you quit school just because you decided it was not the place for you – you then became a full-time gangster because it makes u feel strong. Then you learn how it can earn u easy money, u then turned to brothel and prostitution business, involved in killing some bad guys, risked yourself getting killed, and finally, life takes its toll on you, you find yourself finding ur way back to righteousness. You want to change. Mess after mess, you start to get back the fruit of your choice – U suffer from the outcome. One day you stand at the front of your other fellow Christians who are waiting for your testimony, would u say everything happened to you was according to God’s plan?

I beg to differ.  Just giving opinion as a layman, I would say NO.Since when that God teaches us to do all the things that the guy has been doing? Maybe how he got bullied at school was not his fault, but it’s his choice to choose how to react to it. God gives us the ability to CHOOSE! Of all the good things he could end up doing, he chose to be bad. Maybe he has reasons that are not known by others, maybe he faced some broken family problem, STILL, he could end up becoming a good man instead of complicating his life.

Maybe you have your own opinion that Yes, God runs every moments of our lives. And doesn’t matter what my argument is, My logic with God’s Logic are not the same. That I accept. But still, there are Bible verses that say it clearly that His plans will be laid upon those who TRUST IN HIM, who seek the truth in Him. As we know, we can fall into sins, we can even turn our back on Him anytime. And does God want us to sin? Of course He doesn’t. Most of the time, it’s our full will and consent that we do what we did. In a split second decision, we can decide to not go to church and go to shop instead. Maybe because we are lazy, or we are having doubts in faith, you name it. It’s so unfair that we think God already set out all the dull things we do in life when it’s only a matter of choice that we do what’s right.

One day we can ask for God’s direction in our lives, and He sent us wisdom and signs. Yes, God does that. But from there, you can anytime ignore His presence and get lost again. This world is just full of sins and temptations, it's just so easy to get drifted. God can be sitting just beside you and you don’t even care. So don’t go around telling people that all the mess in ur life now IS GOD’S PLAN, when it’s not. When you cheat your partner, it’s not God’s fault. When your lust is bigger than your brain, it’s not God’s fault, when you count your misery instead of your gifts, that’s certainly is not God’s fault. He can have the loveliest plan in your life, but are you following His way? If you don’t, How can that plan be revealed to you? Just like the non-believers.  You do dare to say that for them to be nonbelievers and refuse to accept God is also part of His plan? When you say No to those who show you the right way, what about that?

So I want to tell u my dear friends, WE HAVE A SAY in what’s gonna happen next. It’s all a choice. Following God’s will ISN’T EASY. To stay faithful isn’t easy. So it’s not a surprise that not many have it. So when you do something really wrong in your life and still go around and talk as if you are the holy man just because you believe that everything bad you do has happened with God’s permission, while it’s your greed and human flesh that rule you, instead of God.

Good News: God is ever forgiving, He will receive us back. And He can use our current situation, no matter how bad it is, to work in a manner that will contribute to something good our lives. Nothing is impossible to Him, you believers know that!! Question is, how long and how are you are gonna lead that route? U have to turn back and make things right. God’s mercy is for all. Alleluia.

When 2 Prayers Collide

I just have this thought in my head. For those who believe in God, I’m sure you also believe that your prayers are heard and answered.

What if, in the occasion of two people, who are having the same ordeal in their lives, are actually praying for different outcome?

One person prays that they can find a way to work it out, and the other person actually has given up and prays to God that he can immediately pass that ordeal and move on?

They are both believers. God loves them equally. Both have reasons why they ask for what they asked and both only want the best for themselves and thought that it’s also the best for everyone. Just that, both don’t seem to think alike. They both want the outcome to be different from what each other wants.

Not that I try to put myself in God’s shoes, trying to think how would He decide on things. But lets just put it this way. God will grant the prayer of the one who has the best of intention, free from selfishness…

At the end of the day, God knows what is the best for us.

May He give guidance and assistance to those who need. Devil is not that powerful but it can do a lot to mislead people. May God guide us, Amen.

Does God Love You More Than He Loves Me?

Being a Christian in the early age, I have walked a journey of ups and downs in my religious life. I have experienced my downfall, getting lost and found my way back. Those who are still new in Christianity might not experienced that journey yet. They might not know that you can fall from A to Z, just by giving in to your worldly cares.

I know that life can be tough, that sometimes we can even lose it. One day I can be surrounded by the blessings that I acknowledge, the next thing I can be tested with the the biggest trials in my life. We just never know.

I have friends who are still beginners, who have just started to learn, and they found that faith which is the key. Although they are new, never one time that I try to compare myself to them, not to mention judge them on the relevance of their beliefs and ways of worship. The beginning of it might look so overwhelming that you can feel like standing on top of the world, but you cannot brag and boast about your faith, to the extent that you think you are more blessed, you are more loved and your prayers are more heard. Suddenly you think you can even read God's mind about who He loves more. Gosh. Why do this?

On the knowledge that Christ wants us to love one another, I believe that such way of comparing faith doesn't go along with that teaching. Moreover, some might not know how tough can it be in the battle of keeping that faith alive, and talking too much of faith but does not translate it into values and principles in the way of life, it could almost be referred as Empty faith.Speaking of faith is easy but living it is not that simple.  So fixing ur inner self is your first job, instead of bz judging others. If I would do that, I can start saying that I have begun praying to this God many years earlier than you, so can I brag that God must have loved me more.

Or I can say that I never did all the sins you did in the past, why don't I use that to say, Oh, God must have loved me because I have resisted temptations,  while you were busy committing all the sins? See that? I can find countless of reasons to bring another believer down by comparing things. But still why would I do that? If I ever do that, I'll be very ashamed to look at myself in the mirror, when I keep bragging about faith but I can't even fix my ways of life.

Don't just tell, but LIVE IT. Show people that you are your faith by the way you live. Why not be humble about your faith. It's God's job to know who He loves, He is to know what good deeds we do. And as far as I know, God loves us all. We are not qualified to judge one another. Thanks.

Go live the faith, not just say it. God bless :))

Wordless Prayer, Speechless Faith

I give you an example. Lets say it has been a few times when you made a mistake on ur work, and prayed so hard to God so that the luck would be on your side, or else you’d risk your job. Yeah, thankfully, God answered your prayer. Alleluia. Your job was safe.

Then it happened again. Again, you grabbed your prayer book, prayed so hard. You could almost remember your sentences from the last time, asking for pity for God to save your job again. You asked for mercy from God, admitting all your faults and carelessness. You humbly knelt before God and read out your request. With all the faith there was, with His power and might, again, He answered your prayer. Alleluia. Your job was safe again. You said your thankfulness in many words.

Then after a while, out of no where, not knowing where went wrong, again, you made another mistake! Whoa! You became numb. This time, you have less fear in your heart and you could not explain why. No more cold feet or panic attack. You just went really cool about it. Of course you occasionally have moments of regrets why it could happen again. And you found yourself kneeling at the church, with your praying hands. You were about to say some request to God, and almost the same sentences again.

BUT…

You did not. You paused and said “God….I don’t know what to pray for now. I’m lost for words. I keep having this problem and I feel like I’m repeating the same prayers in just a few months. God, you know my heart is in trouble, you know I need a solution, but I suddenly feel that it’s unfair that I keep asking for your help, and you always there to help; but then, How long will I keep saying the same request?”

Suddenly you realized something. You could ask for God’s help as many times as you want, but you will keep screwing up the same old things because you just didn’t do enough effort to improve yourself, and you realize YOU are the cause of your problems. It’s because you are not GRATEFUL enuff for your job, you are always careless and ignorant, thinking that FAITH is all you need, that if anything go wrong, your FAITH alone will help you to clean the mess that you make.

Suddenly with that, you know that God’s help comes in the form of wisdom. This time, you speak to yourself, If you just never learn from the past, that if it’s what it takes for you to learn a big lesson, if you have to lose your job this time, you know it’s what you deserve out of your ungratefulness. God will not help you keep your job if you don’t make use of all your capabilities and chances He’s been giving you. And your dream doesn’t just happen with prayers. It must come with works and efforts. Or else, it’s like trying to manipulate the word Faith for your own benefit.

Note: If your faith doesn’t translate into good values, principles, then stop bragging about having a faith as big as a mountain.

James begins this section by using the example of someone who says he has faith but has no works, "What use is it, my brethren, if a man says he has faith, but he has no works? Can that faith save him?" (James 2:14). In other words, James is addressing the issue of a dead faith; that is nothing more than a verbal pronouncement. It is empty of life and action. He begins with the negative and demonstrates what an empty faith is (verses 15-17, words without actions). Then he shows that that type of faith isn't much different from the faith of demons (verse 19). Finally, he gives examples of living faith that is words followed by actions. He writes of Abraham and Rahab as examples of people who demonstrated their faith by their deeds.

Has Adam Found His Eve?

Relationship is always about 2 people. 2 people, and 2 people only. One Adam, One Eve. If you have found your Adam/Eve, well done to you. Adam’s finally found his rib back. But would this new era of Adam, be grateful enough with his Eve? In this era of temptations and sins. What are the challenges that are faced by the Adams today?

I have written about this topic a few times before. But here I would like to add just another point. It’s about how Adam should be grateful with his Eve, instead of keep looking around for her substitute, just because he could not appreciate the one by his side. It’s always good to be grateful. Another point that I should emphasize is that, that useless chase usually will be in vain because you find out that the girl you are chasing for, doesn’t favour you chasing her. She might be your most ideal princess charming but the sad news is, YOU ARE NOT her prince charming. But you are a prince charming to your girl. Do you know what difference that makes? EVERYTHING.

First, she is your girl and you sure love her in a way. Until you give ways to your wandering eyes and lust, that’s when you start to screw up. How she treats you, how she makes you feel, suddenly it’s all not enough. You keep eyeing for another girl who you think, in one way, is better than your girl. You break your girl’s heart and keep going for this other girl. What you find out in the end is the girl thinks you are not even half the man she wants to be with. That’s when you really get knocked on the head. That’s when you realize that, what matters in a relationship is not about what you think you want. It’s who is already treating you well, making you feel loved, that’s should be all you want. If you lose someone who loves you for someone who you think you love but don’t love you back, it’s the stupidest move cos it might be too late by the time you are crawling your way back to the one who loves you.

In the end, what we actually want is TO BE LOVED back. You can find a thousand girls/guys that attract you, but they might like you one way or another, but only one person who is willing to stick to you during thick and thin, who will sacrifice, who will fight to be with you. This one person is created by God. And He created only ONE PERSON to do that job for you. You only have the rest of your life to love each other. Don’t waste your time with your unfaithfulness. Adam only has one Eve, and Eve only has one Adam. And Adam doesn’t lack 2 ribs, but only one. Trust in this equation. God gives us the best that we need.

Please stay in love :)

Love is what that made us. And it was love that saved us. Love was God's plan, when He made man. God's divine nature is Love... - One of my favourite Church's song, God is Love :))

Reminiscence Of The Uncertainties

Many things happened since my last post. The irregularities in the 505 election, of course that’s the first one since my last post was just before the election. It was another type of phenomenon from what expected which most people refered it as the death of Democracy. That’s how the Blackout 505 rallies got its name and colour. The result of the election was unfavoured by majority of Malaysians. There are just too many "funny" things that I don’t have to mention here. We will just have to wait for what’s next after they file the petitions for the election. This is strange, isn’t it. We might or might not face another shocking result. Could our phenomenon come true?

Who can be certain about anything in the future, right? NO ONE. Nothing is sure except for life and death.

Another uncertainty that actually took me days of trauma – was the demise of a good cyber friend on 31st May. I received the first SMS from a friend telling me that we have lost her in a car accident, my heart stopped beating for a few moments, trying to adjust to the fact that I was not dreaming. Only a day after that she was scheduled to meet up with our other cyberfriends in KL, and she even talked about some of her big trips in this going to Thailand and London – I just didn’t know how to explain my feeling that time. I was shocked and traumatized for days, not to mention how I cried everytime I thought of her. She was my first Skype friend, and we tested our voice call connection – even that short I could feel how sweet and wonderful soul she has. Now I’m slowly getting used to the fact that she’s gone, and she’ll be missed and remembered. God Loves Us. She will be taken care of. Every now and then we have to deal with uncertainties. Big or small, we have to adapt to it and regain our normal mode so we continue living in the best way possible. I occasionally have swings in emotions, which is totally normal, and I can almost feel how all this is just part of the mysteries of life. If we can’t understand it, it means that it’s just beyond our wisdom. God’s wisdom is just countless ways bigger and wiser than ours, so don’t expect to understand everything. We only need to remember that He Loves Us and He only wants the best for us. This is the faith that is guiding me day to day. Lets continue walking in His light. He will guide us. Amen.

“God, grant me the serenity to accept things that I could not change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

505: The Phenomenon

2 years ago, I remember it was the first time that Bersih Rally 2.0 was organized. I remember being vocal about how much I DISAGREE with it. I thought that these participants were “not being grateful enough” with THE PEACE that Malaysia has for so long. Yeah, exactly. I even wrote a post about it if you guys remember. I explained why I thought that BERSIH should never be organized. I thought that since when that a rally can change something. I thought that people have better procedure.  Anything, but the rally. I was mostly concerned about innocent citizens who gonna get in trouble, or even hurt, if sthing went wrong.

TODAY, I am so ashamed of myself for whatever I said, whatever I commented – even though I thought that I was at least, doing it for PEACE, but I realized that I was just one of those who was lazy to know much, not informative enough and ignorant about the real scene of the politics in Malaysia. Today, the more I find out, after a number of doubts and prejudices, I come to evaluate that, we Malaysians, deserve more than just this peace.  We Malaysians, are in dire need for CHANGES. Without a way for these changes to happen, most of us might never find out what A BETTER NATION can Malaysia be.

I don’t have to say one by one, why I am saying this. But I tell you, judging from the Fb posts that I saw on other people’s walls, I know that some of them were still like who I was 2 years ago. They were wrongly informed, or not sufficiently informed or just simply not wanting to know more, thinking that what they have now is Good Enough, and thinking about the risk of changing to a new government might just lead the nation to destruction. O yeah, been there. Done that.

I don’t know about the rest of the states in Malaysia. Maybe you guys have a different view. I am a Sabahan. I come from a land where even tourists talk about the richness of our land. Not just from the culture, the various of tribes living together, also our natural resources – anyone with such knowledge will easily label is as the THE RICHEST STATE in Malaysia, if not the second.  Then look again at the statistic of poverty – and there we go again. The last statistic that I saw was Sabah being the number one state with the most hardcore poor citizens. Doesn’t that sound peculiar? What, we only get 5% of our oil? Fine, but I thought, that comes with a security that Sabah is be taken care of, since the federal is taking 95% of our oil. I don’t need the statistic to see that yes, Sabahans are left behind. The rural areas of Sabah are totally poor, they don’t even have proper water supply  and electricity. For so many years, nobody cares about them. Just because they are from secluded areas, the Ybs are making It an EXCUSE that “it takes time” to bring development to these places. Oh, they are not educated, they won’t “BARK” loud enough for anybody to hear to bring shame to any of these People’s Representatives . YEAH, and that takes them 55 years and they still have not reached those areas. 55 freaking years, you people. Now, you want to talk about Peace? When we speak of Peace, we often compare our countries to others that are more unfortunate. This way, of course, we will always look like we are luckier. We have something to eat, and they don’t. They listen to the attack missels and bombs everywhere, and we don’t. It’s not wrong to count our blessings.

But we are talking about Malaysia. We are a blessed country. And this happens to be the biggest challenge for the rulers to try and share the blessings with the people. It happened before when we started to develop, we would be thankful for anything that were given to us. The world has grown older. The people can’t help but learn and then know more and to know how truly blessed we are. Anything less that we get from this blessing, start to be seen as MISUSE of power. When we get too rich, we can’t handle the  richness with wisdom. Suddenly it’s NOT about the people anymore. It’s about staying in POWER for generations, and do whatever it takes , even if they have to step and kill their human values. The IC Project in Sabah really really hurts me to the bone. Since I was in secondary school, I’ve been seeing illegals in every part of the town. After so many years, finally I got to learn that the Ics were given to illegals who are Muslim, and condition was they need to vote for Barisan Nasional. Sabah, being a country with majority non-Muslims, after they rob our oil, now they are robbing our land and trying to dethrone us from our native rights on this land. My heart is crying everytime I think about how cruel they are to us. Yeah, and THIS PEACE that we were talking about, it was the only thing left to close our eyes and live to see another day.

When finally the Lahad Datu Incident, which became the nightmare of the Sabahans – finally the siren was ringing. Ringing to wake us ALL UP, what they have done to us has finally backfired. We have been keeping terrorists among us, and ask the ruler again, If They Care enough for us now that our lives are threatened. If it’s not for General  Election which why they still need us to give them majority to form the government, we have no assurance if our lives are valuable enough for them after everything that they have done to us. And here comes another question, DO WE SABAHANS HAVE THE VOICE FOR SABAH, anymore? With at least 500k Ics were given in Mahathir era just so they can beat the majority of the natives who prefers the local party to rule the state. PBS finally lost and now they have stopped fighting for the natives, as long as their positions in the government are secured.

This is what we get after 50 years. Whoever is ruling for this long and still promising us this and that like they used to do it for the past 12 elections, don’t you wonder why have they not done it for the past 10 years or 20 years from  their 50 years of power. Suddenly those promises didn’t mean anything anymore because our PAINS ARE REAL, and if you rule for 50 years and still we end up with this pain, THIS IS WHY WE NEED TO SEE CHANGES. Not because we are not grateful, but these people cannot continue wronging the people  when God gives us so much resources and blessings to be shared among us.  These people can’t just continue making this country their own playground, where they can do whatever they want and making the people the robots who can’t do much but nod.

Especially for the Sabahans who are Christians, after so many years we are taught that Malaysia is a a democratic country and we have freedom of religions, and after centuries of people using Allah to address the Almighty; even before the existence of Islam, never that it happened in anywhere else of the world that finally the word is banned for the Christians in this country. I was again, badly shocked by how terribly poor things can become under a weak government. Suddenly we feel so alone and dissed – after our wealth is robbed, and then our land, and now they are trying to hurt us again by telling us what we can and what we can’t do in our religion. In fact my dear Muslim friends, if you are reading this. Would you even want to change your religion, or get confused  by the malay Bible, just because of the word Allah? This is totally illogical in my rational mind, knowing that you have a strong root in your religion. You certainly can differentiate, because of your deep understanding on the way of teachings, which is why you totally believe that it’s the religion for you. Do you  understand why we think this is totally unacceptable? To my surprise, the other religions claim that they also use this world in their holy books, they are curious if they are going to get banned too? You certainly will be angry if people think that you are threatened by our strong faith in  God, that now you have to tell us to  NOT use the word that you use to call your God. Why do this? Why we can respect your religion and how to praise your God, and you can’t do the same to us? We do not hurt anybody. The people ARE NOT STUPID and DON’T MAKE THEM LOOK STUPID  that as if they can’t think for themselves – and as if they follow the religion on weak ground that even seeing the same word from other religion’s book will make them change their religion. OH MY GOODNESS.  Bless us our LORD!!

Last but not least, it doesn’t take a genius to guess, why the coming election on 5th May is a Phenomenon to this country. After 50 years of silence, it’s the first time that THE PEOPLE finally have the courage to SPEAK their heart out. WE WANT CHANGES. For those who are afraid that this country will turn upside down because of the change of government, Tell you what, This country is ALREADY upside down. YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE. This Opposition that we have now has been there for so long. They are the ones who highlight every mistakes that the government has been doing – and yeah, if you start talking about ANWAR and his sodomy cases, I TELL YOU WHAT – This is not about ANWAR IBRAHIM, THIS IS NOT ABOUT NAJIB RAZAK, NOR MAHATHIR MOHAMAD, They can have their sets of crimes which the only Judge is GOD.  But here, I am talking as a rakyat, I only want the best for my land, my people.  We want to see something better to be done for Malaysia. And the government now has done their 50 years of chances to do it all. IT’S TIME TO LET THE OTHER ONE SHOW THEIR WORTH. If Barisan Nasional claims to be FIGHTING FOR THE PEOPLE, LET THE ELECTION RUN IN JUSTICE. You have had your 50 years, you can stand giving them just 5 years to prove that we Malaysians DESERVE better. PROVE TO US,  BARISAN NASIONAL, THAT RAKYAT IS YOUR PRIORITY. GIVE US THE CHANCE TO SEE A NEW AND BETTER MALAYSIA. YOU WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR THIS ONE DEED THAT YOU DO TO US. At least, people like me will still thank you for that. Please give way to Justice. Save this one last value for us. DO IT FOR THE SAKE OF THIS COUNTRY.

God, let the voice of the people of true Malaysians determine the next ruler of our country. Allow us to do something for the betterment of this lovely land that you bless us with.

5th May 2013 - Lets do our part, people. Go and cast your vote. It's the most we can do, and the rest, leave it to the hands who created us. He listens to our prayer. For this we know, it's gonna be among the biggest phenomenon ever in our country. God willing. Amen.

Where All The Prayers Go...

I remember when my mom told us that she had a little accident at the bathroom, where she slipped and just fell flat on the ground. The moment we heard it, we got a little panic and worried cos she could get hurt from that. Surprisingly, we didn't even notice that she got such accidental fall judging from how well she was. Then she said this, "Luckily that God sent the angels to guard me so I did not get hurt". Then  I recall my mom having this little altar at the corner of the house where she prays everyday. Becoming a Christian only at 40s, she's still a toddler in faith, as many would refer it. But her praying habit certainly make her a long way more matured than some of us. Even me myself.

Then I recall how our house almost got broken into more than  2 years ago, because of our own carelessness. How the guy, managed to open the grill of the front door, and Almost opened the door that could get him in. With my mom and sister sleeping at the living room, imagine how close we were to danger. Just that, the guy didn't manage to open the door because the lock was a  bit malfunction; which needs some skill to open it. So maybe he got discouraged thinking that he got the wrong key, so he left the house, taking the keys with him, and left his slippers and stole my brother's sneakers. After the incident, we were busy blaming each other, and even Thankful to the malfunction lock, thinking that WE WERE JUST LUCKY to be saved by it. "Then something suddenly hit me. Don't you guys think we should be thankful that we are safe? This place is protected. Don't you guys think about that? It's in OUR PRAYERS!"

Guys, we have been praying for safety and protection EVERYDAY. To where do you think the prayers go? Why keep thinking that it's your own luck that saved you from mishap, when you should remember EVERY WORDS OF YOUR PRAYERS ARE HEARD - AND THEN  ANSWERED.

GOD HEARS OUR PRAYERS.

So when you get what you ask for, first, say your thankfulness to HIM. He's listening to us, guys. He really does. Thank you God. Thank you. Always keep us under your protection. Amen.

PRAYERS MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE YOU WANT TO SEE HAPPEN IN YOUR LIFE. NEVER GIVE UP ON PRAYING. PRAY HARDER. HE LISTENS TO EVERY WORDS...:))
